Public Transport
10 min walk up the hill from tram stop Výtoň, trams number 3,7,17 and 5 min walk back down the hill.
5 – 10 min walk to tram stop Albertov, trams number 18, 24, 14.
10 – 15 min walk to underground C – Vyšehrad.
Description of the route:
The best way to reach us is from the tram stop Výtoň. After the Railway Bridge, you will see a sign indicating the National Cultural Monument Vyšehrad. From there, stairs lead directly to our kindergarten. Please note that the stairs are steeper, and you might walk more slowly with children.
For those with strollers, we recommend going from the tram stop Výtoň, turning left onto Vratislavova Street towards Cihelná brána (Cihelna Gate). Immediately after the gate, turn right and follow the alley to reach the New Provost’s House building. Beyond it, you will see our garden and the building of the Old Provost’s House – our kindergarten, Indigo-kids. The path is short but uphill. (Adults take about 7 minutes).
Another possible route, suitable for strollers, is from the Albertov tram stop. Walk under the underpass and cross Neklanova Street, heading uphill. At the end, turn left onto Vratislavova Street towards Cihelná brána (Cihelna Gate). Immediately after the gate, turn right and follow the alley to reach the New Provost’s House building. Beyond it, you will see our garden and the building of the Old Provost’s House – our kindergarten, Indigo-kids. The path is short but uphill. (Adults take about 7 minutes).
From the Vyšehrad metro station, follow the path to the upper Táborská brána (Tabor Gate). After passing through it, continue to Leopoldová brána (Leopold Gate) and then turn left towards the Church of St. Peter and St. Paul. After the church, turn right along the wall, and the first building on your right is our kindergarten. (Adults take about 15 minutes).
