Regular courses

Will be held every Thursday from 16:00 to 17:00 and will be led by dancer and choreographer Veronika Knytlová, who is also a mother of her own wonderful children and has extensive experience with teaching children’s lessons.

The dance course is based on natural movement, childhood imagination, and the initial development of conscious work with the body. Through improvisation, natural movement, music and visual elements we will develop a distinctive perception of each child’s movement. We will unite common discoveries in an experience that will allow children to explore the spontaneous joy of dancing.

Course will be twice a month, always on a Tuesday from 9:00 to 10:00, under the guidance of teacher Veronika and her dog Tessie, who successfully passed the Canisterapeutical dog exam.
The course will be themed, as well as full of games, pampering and good moods. Canine therapy develops soft and coarse motor skills, intellectual abilities, communication skills and self-control. It affects the improvement of mood, induces well-being and a sense of security, develops a protective and nurturing attitude, fulfills the need for tenderness, and much more.

Health and Fitness

On Tuesdays we alternate between balancing exercises for children and Yoga in combination with Tai Chi for children.
During balancing exercises for children, we use balancing balls and boards. Children learn to breath properly, to practice healthy standing and walking postures, and to stretch all their muscles in order to improve their physical health. The instructor for this course is Martina Voplatková.

During Yoga in combination with Tai-Chi the children enjoy imitating animals such as tigers, bears or birds and natural features like sea waves, and walking on the moon or dancing with ribbons. These activities help to develop their imagination and to improve their memory and flexibility. They also help children to become less restless, anxious, and worried. These types of exercises, when practiced regularly, help improve mental and physical health.          Trainees and English Teachers assist at this course. Every Tuesday 10:30am – 11:30am.

will take place every Monday afternoon from 4:00 pm to 4:30 pm under the guidance of our teacher Fany, who is a master of several musical instruments herself. The recorder flute is her favorite instrument, and she has been playing it from a very young age.
The lesson is conducted in a way which trains healthy breathing, rhythmic tempo, melodic singing, and (fine) motor skills in alternate conjunction.
In the flute course, the children will naturally and peacefully acquaint themselves with the instrument. Additionally, they will develop their natural musicality, sense of rhythm and intonation, and techniques for proper breathing. At the same time, the refinement of communication, speech, and fine motor skills is promoted in a gentle and playful form.

Children explore their creativity through projects that teach a variety of techniques for using materials like ceramics, paints, glue, play dough and many natural resources. Trainees and English Teachers assist this course. Every Monday 3.30pm – 4.30pm.

Every Thursday we take the children to a modern swimming pool. Here they split their time between swimming lessons with a trained lifeguard and free time where the children can play and enjoy the water.
This course is not included in the school fee.
Every Thursday 9:30am – 10:30am.

On Friday’s the children have the opportunity to learn how to prepare different dishes and learn about the origins of the raw cooking ingredients. This experience is hands on; the children cook their afternoon snacks or other delicious meals by themselves. This broadens their fantasy and their cooking skills as well as math skills and teaches patience. Every Friday morning.
